Lord Boyd has touched many lives as a athelete and his memory lives on as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. He was my friend, my partner, my confidant, my travelling companion, what more can I say about two people who shared their lives the way Jon and I did, we were inseperable for many years, now that he has gone I miss him, I miss the laugh's, the tears, the arguments, the joys we shared, I miss the phone calls not hearing G'day mate how are ya. He may be gone but will never be forgotten. One day we will meet again, don't know where, don't know when. Maybe under the shade of a Coolabar tree, by a Billabong, with a tuckerbag in his hand and you will come a walzing Matilda with me. Singing my Boomarang won't come back. Love ya Jon.
Greg from Kelso, WA "I grew up watching Portland Wrestling and you and Jonathan were one of my favorite heel teams. I was real sorry to hear of Jonathan's recent passing. You two gave me some of my favorite memories of the Don Owen promotion. The blood flowed freely whenever you put the boomerang against the heads of the babyfaces the likes of Ed Francis, Shag Thomas and others. Hope this finds you in good health and thanks for the memories." | |
WRESTLER'S EYE VIEW by Les Thatcher 1973 Lord Jonathan Boyd and Norman Frederick Charles III. Now there's two names that must belong to a couple of real sweet boys! Can't you see them sipping tea, and riding to the hounds! Aw!!!! Not so. More likely than not when you see this Jonathan and Norman, they'll be bashing people over the head or kicking them in the ribs. Not just any people, Professional Wrestlers! You see John and Norm are the Royal Kangaroos, from Down Under. Afer all these years as a team they wrestle as if their minds were one. They are undoubtedly one of the best teams in the world. They have held more tag team titles and single titles than I could name.
